Come Clean Gwinnett

Summary

In February 2021, I co-founded a community group, Come Clean Gwinnett, designed to empower the one million residents of Gwinnett County to take personal action on litter and blight in their community. The group enables residents to connect with neighbors to schedule collaborative neighborhood cleanups and find resources for reporting issues like potholes, damaged cable boxes, forgotten traffic cones, and dangerous sidewalks that bring down property values and quality of life. In its first 30 days, the group attracted 1,000 members, with volunteers taking action on blight and collecting 624 bags of trash and 120 tires. Come Clean Gwinnett's accomplishments have been featured in articles in local and regional newspapers, and I serve as the media relations contact.
